THE EXHIBITION

Flow control within environmental infrastructure.

IFAT Munich’s 2026 dates were 4–7 May at Messe München. The organiser shortened the edition to a four-day format and placed water, recycling and circularity at the centre of its programme. Its scope spans water and wastewater technology alongside waste management, recycling and the recovery of useful resources.

For valve users, that broad environmental focus connects familiar water duties with more varied treatment and recovery processes. Different streams can impose very different demands on materials, sealing and operation. The exhibition offers a system-level context for evaluating equipment, bringing component selection into the wider discussion of plant performance and service requirements.
